As we've been finishing up The Long Now project we've been doing the last finishing touches to the math portion of the project as a whole. We've been trying to get the calculations of all the different concepts that would help the ball not hit the cube or anybody. As we've been trying to do this we used Desmos. As first we all got a concept which we all specialized in. I got the Time Between Stop but as time went by I got changed into Angle Between Stops. We had to go on Desmos and change one or more of the different components that make it all work to help our certain concept. It seem like the easiest thing at first but later I realized that it really wasn't. We presented our findings three times because the first time we made bad calculations. I feel like the reason to this happened was because as a whole we were all confused on what exactly was going on. A mistake I made was not speaking up to Mr.Ko to know what was going on. It felt like we were repeating something that we've done but it was completely different. Everything was confusing, I didn't really understand the whole idea of making sure our concept went to a certain number and knowing all the different components in depth. But when we had to redo all of our findings it all became more clear. I had a clearer sense of what what going on when we I had to raise our hands when out number what close or far from what our goal was and a clearer sense of how the other connotes were affected if something changed. I felt like not only me but the whole class as a whole learned and got reminded that really actually staying focused and knowing whats going on really helps. Also that doing something more than once gives you more knowledge to know what actually happening. You have to go through Mistake.Learn.Grow.
