As class has been progressing we've been doing many new things in class. I worked on creating my Initials on desmos (a online graphing calculator). Each letter I put into graphing paper in order to know what each coordinate was for each part of the letter. When I finished it all I had nothing to do so I decide to do the second option which was to shade my initals. After seeing how Mr.Ko walked us through it I thought it was going to be simple but then when it came to my actual initials it was harder than I thought. For each single coordinate you had to change the equation.
for example the equation above was the original equation to get a certain line but I needed to change the equation to make a shade out of it. So I added more to the equation.
I had to change the equation sign to a less than sign then y since its in that axis and another less than sign to cut the shade there. And I did that for each and every line based of the different it places it was placed in. But while doing that I found a problem the shades weren't coming out the way I wanted them to they would come out a different direction. I kept trying to change other parts of the equation and adding different numbers and changing the axises in the equation but after doing it all. I watched a online tutorial which helped me. I was able to find that with the vertical lines you had to put a greater than sign not less than sign. After finding that out I got a ahhh moment which just made me feel even more accomplished and glad with my work. While completing this assignment I had to go through Mistake. Learn. Grow.
